It has that homegrown feeling

Anyways, I was reminiscing on last year when I got initiated into my sorority.  I never really cared to get that involved mostly because I didn’t know what I missing out on to begin with.  Now that I have my position on council and I have gotten closer to every girl in my sorority I have come to realize the growth of our chapter.  Since last year we have gotten ourselves off National probation.  The fact that we aren’t just saying what we want to do with chapter and that we are actually doing it and following through says so much.  I am so proud to be a Kappa Delta and a year ago I was too, but I never valued my membership as much as I do now. Our chapter is changing for the better and it is going to stay that way. We are making sure of it.

It just feels so good to prove the people that doubted us to begin with.  They were wrong.
